Best media player for your computer would be hard to find.  One need to experience few of availabe players on the market just to see the differences.  With the availability of lots of free trials and even free media players on the web, one could enjoy playing around the best features being highlighed on each of the sites as well as the personal listening experiences.

My five (5) personal things to consider on choosing a player.

Various format playback support.  A player for me must be capable of reading various extensions.  Although lots of media file extension are known today, mp3 was considered popular due to its size.  Even though lots of other available extension which are good in compression as well as quality, the value of being played on a certain player came an issue.

Player size.  As most people prefer small in size player, features would come into play.  Some players might have avaialbe plug-ins & other third-party compatible plug-ins, their entire player application size would be of much greater.  One could sacrifice the size for the plug-ins availability.

Plug-in features.  Plug-ins are additional features that would increase or boost the performance of the player.  Experiences, recommendations & other tips would be of great help in choosing reliable plug-ins.  Don't forget the sync feature that you might need when transferring your songs to your mobile phones, mp3 players, PSPs, etc.

Performance & Memory.  On the market, lots and lots for media player companies are featuring their best listening features while concealing some of the issue.  Most likely, the greater the number of plug-ins or enhancing features, the greater memory would it need that would slower the performance of your computer.

User Interface.  The way one would find convenient to use player would somehow put up on the selection.  The ease of managing your media files as well as the customizing your player would suggest a great experience.  Well, as most experienced, taking extra time on exploring the media player would definitely help.  Depending on each taste, attracting to player's interface could contribute of being attached to it.

Choosing a right media player would be an easy as a walk in the park to others.  Others might find hesitant to try other players' capabilities.  With alot of persuading softwares being flooded on the web nowadays, it would still end up to one's personal choice.  I do hope the above items would somehow be of a help.  Any other suggestions are greatly recommended.
