iPad 3 to launch within a few months

The next generation of iPad is expected to be exposed to the public and be available in the next three to four months, as been disclose by a technology-news website.

As reported, suppliers of components for tablets reduced their outputs for the current unit of iPad 2. Likewise, the same supplier started deploying their parts to OEM contractors (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

In addition, the supply-chain sources revealed that the unit production of the current iPad 2 will be lowered and degenerated to around 5M units in the first quarter of next year. This is to provide way for the launch of the next iPad - iPad 3.

According to the source, for the first three quarters of this year, iPad products summed-up to 25.06M and is expected to reached 40M for this entire year - as estimated, said Digitimes.

13 died in Parañaque plane crash

The crash of a light plane on an elementary school just near the domestic airport in Parañaque city this afternoon killed at least 13 people.

Out of the numbered fatalies, eight were children while the rest are passengers of the said plane, as confirmed by the fire bureau and police officials. The incident happened around 2:30 to 2:45 this afternoon, according to reports.

The said school was Felixberto Serrano Elementary School in Barangay Don Bosco, Parañaque city.

A 4th Filipino was executed in China

A Filipino, considered drug smuggler was been executed in China. A 35-year old, who was not been known to the public, was given lethal injection just after a last meeting with family members and a priest. Despite appeals from the Philippine government, China remained firm and strong with her laws.

Way back 2008, a Filipino was been arrested and charged at a Chinese airport for smuggling about 1.5 kilograms of heroin. From Malaysia, he entered China as tourist.

This is considered as the fourth Filipino smuggler that is executed through lethal injection this year.

iPhone 4S from Smart Communication, this December 16

According to Manila Inquirer, it’s now final. Spokesmen
for both the Chinese embassy and the Department of
Foreign Affairs said of the decision of the Supreme
People’s Court of China affirming the drug trafficking
conviction and death sentence of a Filipino scheduled for
execution next week, as said by Ethan Sun Yi, deputy chief of the embassy’s political section and mission spokesperson.

DFA spokesman Raul Hernandez said exactly the same
thing, but added that “our government is appealing that
the death penalty be commuted to life imprisonment for
humanitarian reasons.”
