The next generation of iPad is expected to be exposed to the public and be available in the next three to four months, as been disclose by a technology-news website.
As reported, suppliers of components for tablets reduced their outputs for the current unit of iPad 2. Likewise, the same supplier started deploying their parts to OEM contractors (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
In addition, the supply-chain sources revealed that the unit production of the current iPad 2 will be lowered and degenerated to around 5M units in the first quarter of next year. This is to provide way for the launch of the next iPad - iPad 3.
According to the source, for the first three quarters of this year, iPad products summed-up to 25.06M and is expected to reached 40M for this entire year - as estimated, said Digitimes.
