The power of Segura failed to dictate the fight and ended him at eighth round. Viloria, with his boxing skills, improved his record while still holding the belt on his waist.
When the right tempo, Viloria effectively executed his counter-punches which made his opponent fazed per round. And finally, reaching at the eighth round, the referee halted the bout after Viloria landed a beautiful and strong punch to Segura which made the latter moved sideway to the corner of the ring.
The bout was dubbed as The Island Assult 3, that was been held at Ynares Sport Center in Pasig.
