iPad 3 to launch within a few months

The next generation of iPad is expected to be exposed to the public and be available in the next three to four months, as been disclose by a technology-news website.

As reported, suppliers of components for tablets reduced their outputs for the current unit of iPad 2. Likewise, the same supplier started deploying their parts to OEM contractors (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

In addition, the supply-chain sources revealed that the unit production of the current iPad 2 will be lowered and degenerated to around 5M units in the first quarter of next year. This is to provide way for the launch of the next iPad - iPad 3.

According to the source, for the first three quarters of this year, iPad products summed-up to 25.06M and is expected to reached 40M for this entire year - as estimated, said Digitimes.

Philippines, top 3 as huge Apple users in SEA.

Having Apple as the top brand for mobile devices among South-East Asia users, Philippines took the third spot in terms of Apple's market share in the month ending October, according to data released yesterday by Effective Measure.

Philippines included in the list for being one of the huge fans of mobile devices by the giant Apple. It obtained 69.2 per cent of Apple's SEA market share.

Thailand owned the top spot with 79.6 per cent among the SEA nations. It is followed by Singapore attaining 75.8 per cent. Other countries including the list were Malaysia at 57.1 per cent, Vietnam for her 33.7 per cent and Indonesia with 10.1 per cent.
